Customize your own wooden chest to fit your style! Pick out your wood species, chest size, unique textures, sliding trays and your own custom engraved name plate.
Step 2: Schedule
Expect to receive an email with estimated delivery date in 3-4 business days. We appreciate your interest and are very excited to build your chest or trunk.
Step 3: Construction
Made from quality hardwood with attention to detail! We offer cedar, cherry, oak and painted maple wood species. Choose what suits your home best!
Step 4: Delivery Time
* Due to exceptionally high demand the wait time between ordering and delivery is currently much longer than usual. All new orders will immediately be placed on our shop schedule which is booked for several months in advance at the moment. Thank you for understanding!

Origin of Shaker Chests
During the late 1700’s, there was a charismatic group of people who left the Quaker group. This group became known as the “Shakers” because of their ecstatic nature of worship. The Shakers stressed beliefs of simplicity, quality, and efficiency, and it showed in their furniture style. The furniture they produced was designed with straight lines, straight-forward technique, and an overall modest appearance. Although the shaker style originated hundreds of years ago, shaker furniture blends well in modern and contemporary homes today. Our wooden chests carry those simple Shaker style qualities with their raised panel construction on all four sides.

Also, our shaker chests are available with a customizable engraved name plate. With a name plate, you can make your shaker chest unique and more personal. When you give your friend or relative a shaker chest, you can include a special engraved note that will be placed inside the lid of the chest.
