Shaker chests are finished on all sides with raised panel construction, the back looks just like the front, this makes them great for use as a coffee table where all sides are exposed, can be used for various other applications as well.  

This chest is available in a stained or painted maple as well as a two tone finish, which is a combination of the two (the front and sides of the chest are painted while the lid is stained) When ordering a two tone finish please choose both a paint and stain color, if you want a single color finish please choose just the paint or stain color of your choice.

Slide trays are great for storing small items that can easily become misplaced.

This specialty finish starts with Harvest stain as the under coat, then gets shaded with a black paint. The edges get some rubthrough, then get finished with a flat sheen finish. (This replaces your stain or paint color)

Ditressing techniques are randomly applied to your chest and include, rounded and worn corners and edges, rasping, dips, knife cuts simulating cracks, worm holes, chain distressing and shading. Glaze will be applied to further highlight distressed areas.

The name plate will be applied to the inside of the lid on your chest.

My husband and I bought this chest for our daughter's 2oth birthday. I'm familiar with how well Amish furniture is made...however was still amazed at how beautiful this chest was!!! I would definitely recommend this web site to anyone...thank you for the beautiful workmanship, I know our daughter will cherish this chest!!
