Made from solid maple with cedar bottom. Pictured in optional two-tone finish. 4.9 cu. ft of storage. Please choose between our Shaker Base or the elegant Tulip Foot (pictured in Tulip Foot). 

Standard features include: A spring loaded lid support to keep the lid from falling shut, lock with 2 keys, and dovetail joints.

This chest is available in stained or painted maple, as well as a two tone finish, (as pictured) When ordering a two tone finish please choose both a paint and stain color, if you want a single color finish choose only the paint or stain color of your choice.

Slide trays are great for storing small items that can easily become misplaced.

Ditressing techniques are randomly applied to your chest and include, rounded and worn corners and edges, rasping, dips, knife cuts simulating cracks, worm holes, chain distressing and shading. Glaze will be applied to further highlight distressed areas.

The name plate will be applied to the inside of the lid on your chest.

This sturdy and astoundingly beautiful hope chest is a real presence in the room where it stands. It's solid, masterfully crafted, and just exudes a sense of time and legacy. When I ordered it, I never imagined a piece so fine, and I'm so happy to have it in my home.
